Managed by Joey Conforti, the Oilers are the definition of a quality franchise in LTP. The Oilers have spent several seasons at the bottom of the standings, aquiring talent though trades and scouting for the rarest of prospects for draft. Last season they evolved their strategy and dynamics to take a last place team to a championship. Something that has only been done a few times in LTP history.
Roma and the Coyotes should be commended for being very competitive the last few season, but they just could not grasp the first place spot from the Oilers. If there is any consolation for Roma, it is that they were able to win the Playoff Cup.
The future is bright for Lifetimepool; now can the Oilers extend their championship run or will another team follow in their footprints.
