Lifetimepool is historically known for season long drama; and the 2018-2019 season was full of tension, rumors, and commotion. However, at the season end the Leafs fought off the fantastic battle with the Oilers to become victorious.
The Leafs began the season with one of a few controversial trades involving the Islanders. Ironically, none of the players in the “cash” deal were on the championship roster of the Leafs. The Oilers led by Joey Conforti willed their way to battle for the championship but fell short by only 9 points. The several sly and crafty Leaf deals by Steve Doulgaris were just enough to win the championship.
The Hitmen finished 3rd by beating the 4th place Blackhawks near the seasons end and remain a top contender for the upcoming season as they were only a key player or two from strongly contending. Several teams are positioned for future success; such as the Vikings and Wolfpack.
In a surprising end to the year, congratulations go to Ferrari for capturing their first LTP Cup. A franchise who has been criticized by many for their managerial style has now had a taste of winning. Hopefully bigger things are to come.
Steve Doulgaris have become one of the prized franchises in LTP History; they have proven to be competitive most seasons and have won 2 championships. They are on their way to become LTP Legends…who will be the team to stop them?
