We shall continue by looking at a team that has disappointed lifetimepool fans until this year. Team Ferrari. With a team name like that you figure they would strive to be on top year after year. Well it looks good for Ferrari fans this year.
Lets hold off before we smoke a doobie and have some Grappa. The only way anyone will think this team will pull it off, is if they are stoned or drunk. Daniel Briere is a fantastic player and should reward team ferrari with a point or more per game. Now it's time to take a look at the other players on their team. Ryan Smyth, as much as I have respect for this player with his hard work ethic (unlike team Ferrari over the years) so far he has been getting lucky on his goals. For the most part they have been primary junk goals.. Once the goalies settle in, these goals should become less frequent. Brenden Morrow and Sykora look great so far, will they be able to keep it up? They have always been streaky players, I expect a slow down soon. Mr. Handzus, let it be known Ferrari has a winner here, him and Havlat are dynamite together and finally Handzus will produce what he has always been capable of. Vybonny.......cough, cough..........next. Lifetimepool should fear this team not only are they battling for top spot, they are doing it without Elias in stride yet. They also have the Lou curse working for them. Maybe we all be smoking a doobie, and having some grappa soon to notice this team is for real.
Next...........The favored Vikings. There isn't another team I would rather see fall flat on their asses. So confident, so sure, so bold that they believe they will win it again. I actually take that back, I don't want the Viking to fall flat on their asses, I actually would like to see them come close to the top, so close that the difference will be between goalies, that I would love. Lets take a look at what they got. Depth, Depth, Depth and Ferrari asshole (Ferrari GM ass is still bleeding).....
Vikings must be worried that their star players are not mustarding the points that they should be. Drury, Ribero, Reinprecht, Walker, and Tucker are all beating out their stars. St. Louis, Tanguay, Alfredson, Richards, Datsuk and even Heatly have all been disappointments so far. I assure you Vikings will want the trophy again this year. You saw their attitude at the draft, and if there stars don't pick it up soon expect a trade.
