In what was an entertaining 2009 - 2010 season, where the Blackhawks become only the second team in LTP history to win multiple championships. This was only the Blackhawks second time winning the championship since the 2001-2002 season. The Blackhawks biggest move of the season was a record 17 player trade with Roma to slightly edge out the Oilers. The Oilers had a strong lead throughout much of the season previous to the last minutes deadline deal completed by the Blackhawks.
This was also the inagural year of the Wolfpack who built their team rich with prospects and a strong foundation for the future.

The 2010 LTP Cup was also a competitve battle with the Vikings proving they still have the calibre team to fight for the top of the tables. The Vikings have won all LTP cups with the exception of one won by the Devils.
