The 2015 – 2016 Lifetimepool Championship was one of the grittiest victories in Lifetimepool history. It is without question that Leafs, managed by General Manager Steve Doulgaris has always been an underdog. Beginning as the first ever expansion team, the Leafs were always challenged and teased to catch up with the ‘originals’.
The Leafs have always been a 'wheeling and dealing' franchise with savvy drafting skills and 2015-2016 season finally proved all their years of hard work and dedication. They had to fight off the reigning champion Canucks right to the very end of the season. The Coyotes did not make any moves to aid in their cause for consecutive seasons; though surprisingly the Hitmen were quiety creeped into the top 5 teams. A possible foreshadow into the Hitmen's future prospects of a championship.
