Hockey day in Canada marked an important Deadline Day for Lifetimepool. There was big anticipation on what deals were expected to happen. The deadline saw a few teams make their final tweaks going into the last push of the season. Maybe the biggest deals of the day were the ones that never happened, as the Vikings did not make a deal to respond with the Canucks push, and a controversial 12th hour deal between the Blackhawks and Islanders that never came to be. Everyone will now have to sit in anticipation and watch one of closest races for first in recent years.
