The Canucks have proven that they are not a team to be taken lightly. There is no question that they want to win the Lifetimepool title. The Islanders had made it very clear that they were going to influence this season by a trade nearing the deadline. Ironically, the Canucks and Islanders could not come to terms in an earlier trade this season, however left differences aside by combining in what might be the biggest deal of the season. Expect a busy week before the deadline as all teams try to structure themselves for the rest of the season.
